El Nido Family Centers
El Nido provides services at schools, community locations and the home, focusing its efforts in five core program areas: Child Abuse Prevention & Treatment, Parent Education & Family Development, Teen Parent Family Services, and Youth Development.
Adult services include: comprehensive case management, on site applications through DPSS for Calfresh/Foodstamps, MediCal and TANF, Parenting classes (offered in English and Spanish), Financial literacy workshops and financial coaching, free state/federal tax return preparation, ESL classes, individual counseling, immigration legal assistance, LiHeap, LADWP & Gas Company discount programs, housing providers, EDD, & more, referrals to other El Nido programs including: Early Headstart, Teen Parent, Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Access and referral to gang intervention/prevention services, computer literacy classes and computer lab.
Youth services include: individual counseling, tutoring for middle and high school students, college corner and educational mentorship, college field trips and resource fairs, theatre workshops, computer literacy classes and computer lab, anger management, trauma and substance use groups, co-located with youth source center, providing youth employment and financial literacy.

To obtain free services, please bring the following to register:
1. proof of income (paycheck, income taxes, benefit statement, etc.)
2. proof of address (ID, mail, etc. with address in area of the city of L.A.)
3. your child's report card, if registering children in grades K-12
