An on-site Public Counsel attorney provides FamilySource Center clients with legal assistance and referrals on such topics as: At-risk family services and benefits advocacyHelping low-income families access tax credits; Immigrants’ Rights; Expungements; Landlord/tenant disputes; Wage garnishments; Traffic tickets; Bankruptcy (Referal); Consumer Advocacy; Education Rights; Foster Youth Advocacy; Minors and the Law; Immigration issues; and Homeless Court.
FASI provides wellness classes as well as Covered California: The program helps uninsured Californians, particularly the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities, obtian quality health coverage at a lower cost.In addition, they have the FASGI's Citizen Naturalization Project, we assist clients by: Reviewing their eligibility for naturalization, Completing naturalization application(s), Facilitating the filing of their application(s) with USCIS andPreparing for them for their citizenship interview and test.
