Brotherhood Crusade YouthSource Center
The Brotherhood Crusade Youth Source Center is a partnership with the City of Los Angeles Economic and Workforce Development Department. The program increases educational and career-based mentoring opportunities by aligning youth with committed mentors, re-engaging youth in school, developing their vocational life and social skills, improving their academic skills, engaging youth in work experience volunteerism and internships, and eventually helping youth secure employment. Youth may qualify for: career exploration and paid internships, tutoring, social justice competency, college exploration workshops, financial literacy, life skills training, workshops in job readiness, vocational training, career path programs, and job placement. A counselor is also available to help youth with: high school diploma/HiSET options, credit recovery, and independent study programs.
Ages 17-24 years old who live in South Los Angeles youth, and are unemployed and out of school or at-risk of dropping out of school.
Information meetings are held every week on Tuesdays at 10:00 am and Thursdays at 4:00 pm.
