Project Tipping Point

Project Tipping Point

Project Tipping Point is a two-year, cohort-based, and intensive wraparound support program for current & former foster youth (ages 18-25) who seek an AA degree in Liberal Arts or Transportation. Program participants will enroll full-time (for free!) at LATTC while receiving support services & case management from a dedicated Navigator to help remove barriers to staying in school. Youth will participate in an intensive bridge-to-college phase to develop basic skills in math & English while setting goals for the future; access a peer-based support network; and participate in weekly workshops to build skills. At the end of the two-year program, participants will develop a transition plan & get support to continue their higher education or find a career-track job.
