This class helps parents identify and develop new strengths, it assists parents in learning effective parenting skills and how to create opportunities for positive family bonding. Topics include: parenting styles, setting boundaries, communication and discipline methods, anger and stress management, conflict resolution, supportive relationship building and responsibility sharing.
Barrio Action enriches educational learning with activities that promote positive alternatives to their environment. Activities include basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, tae kwon do, outdoor activities such as hiking and field trips, dance and music classes.
In partnership with EITC and VITA, we offer free tax preparation services to individuals or families that reside in the City of Los Angeles earning less than $50,000 annually.
We assist youth to succeed in school, our Center provides tutoring and homework assistance to elementary, middle, and high school students.

Via Care offers complete behavioral health treatment options, provided by highly trained professionals and adapted to meet the specific needs of the individual or family. Depending on the individual, issues that may be addressed during therapy are: Adult services; Child/Adolescent behavior disorders; and Substance abuse treatment.

Bell Shelter operates a comprehensive program that offers transitional care for up to 350 homeless men and women. The goal of Bell Shelter is to meet the needs of the homeless population by addressing the myriad of reasons why people become homeless and assisting them in developing a higher quality of life through independence.
