Bell Shelter operates a comprehensive program that offers transitional care for up to 350 homeless men and women. The goal of Bell Shelter is to meet the needs of the homeless population by addressing the myriad of reasons why people become homeless and assisting them in developing a higher quality of life through independence.
At our Venice Beach setting, men find the tools to achieve lasting recovery and rebuild relationships. Located on Ocean Front Walk in Venice Beach, Phoenix House offers comprehensive residential treatment to adult men who are trying to break the cycle of drug and alcohol abuse. Group therapy, individual counseling, and a variety of services are offered to those who are striving to overcome addiction, reunite with family, and achieve economic independence.
Phoenix House Academy in Los Angeles is an evidence-based residential treatment program for 110 youth ages 13-18 affected by substance abuse and/or mental health disorders. Residents attend a fully-accredited on-site high school while receiving comprehensive drug and alcohol addiction treatment services, including: individual and group counseling (mental health, substance abuse, trauma, and anger management); family therapy (parent education, group counseling); art and music therapy; cultural and recreational activities; and a broad range of life skills training.
