NDY's Alcohol and Drug Prevention and Recovery Support Programs enlist a comprehensive approach to prevention by providing a range of diverse services and programs to meet the complex needs of youth and to prevent under age drinking and use of methaphetamines, narcotics and other illegal drugs. Services include Individual and group mentoring, Drug/Alcohol Awareness Educational Classes, recovery support services including tutoring, life skills, anger management, mentoring, and job preparation skills.

Our inpatient program offers a full array of behavioral health services, including 24-hour physician availability and nursing care; medication administration; crisis intervention; family, group and individual therapy; reality orientation; relaxation and stress management therapies; patients rights; family education; 12-step groups; and social services aftercare planning.
Wesley Health Centers (Downey) provides health care services for the entire family. The health center is conveniently located on close proximity to Paramount and Cerritos. Services offered at Wesley Health Centers (Downey) include: Primary Health Care, Pediatrics, Pregnancy Test, HIV/STD Testing, Diabetes Care, Prenatal Care, Reproductive Health, Substance Abuse Counseling, Laboratory Services, Specialty Referrals.
Jenesse’s mission is to provide victims of domestic violence and their children with a comprehensive centralized base of support that is culturally responsive, and ensures their transition from immediate crisis to stability and self-sufficiency. Jenesse provides the following services: shelter, domestic violence crisis hotline, case management, vocational education program, mental health program, legal services, children and adolescent's enrichment Program, health, transportation, and educational programs.
Our behavioral health programs exist to elevate clients’ voices and advocate for their emotional, behavioral, and psychological needs through evidence-based, client-centered approaches to mind and body well-being, including: Collaborative therapists, psychiatrists, and social workers dedicated to integrated care, 1-on-1 counseling, group therapy, and drug use moderation management.
Trauma-informed clinical services are available to all of our trainees. In addition to individual psychotherapy, the Mental Health Program offers substance abuse counseling; court-approved domestic violence classes; therapeutic dance; a psycho-educational “Baby and Me” group; and psychiatric evaluation and support. As demand for these services is high, “Homeboy Heals,” a cadre of volunteer licensed psychotherapists, provides additional capacity for counseling.
Young adults 18 to 21 years old with mental illness or co-occurring disorders and who leave foster care or the juvenile justice system can live semi-independently in housing provided by Hillview. They receive psychiatric care, basic life skills training, employment counseling, education assistance, and guidance in obtaining appropriate county social services.
Hathaway-Sycamores’ Family Resource Center provides support services that include after-school enrichment programs for children and youth, individual and family counseling, academic support, access to community technology center, and other preventative programs designed to help enrich and empower families and their communities.
PMHC is currently a program in the Community-Based Specialty Division. Our services include individual therapy, family therapy, case management services, referral linkage, and parenting or domestic violence groups. Services may be provided in the home and/or at our office.
