This presentation will provide an overview of human trafficking with a more specific focus on the exploitation of youth in the U.S., especially in California and the surrounding Los Angeles region. The session will focus on signs for identifying abuse, handling disclosures and reporting, resources, and trauma-informed approaches to supporting victims of child sexual exploitation and trafficking.
