This presentation will provide an overview and dialogue about how to approach and work with children and families in the immediate aftermath of a critical incident. We will focus on how to utilize Psychological First Aid (PFA) in your profession to support students/families and explore the importance of mental health, the impact of trauma on our well-being and how resilience can be built.
